Student Program with Green Chimneys of Brewster

Many of you may not know that we here at Brewster Shell work directly with Green Chimneys

Green Chimneys School’s curriculum is structured around each child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and delivered within a comprehensive, therapeutic environment. With a student-to-staff ratio of 12:1:2 or 8:1:2, we are able to thoughtfully consider and accommodate each learner’s educational, physical, emotional, and behavioral needs, guided by comprehensive assessments.

Students are then immersed in experiences designed to identify and build upon their strengths through an academic program and teaching model that supports all types of learners. In addition, we bring students on a weekly basis for hands-on, on-site learning in our repair shop and convenience store, where they develop practical life and vocational skills through activities such as stocking, merchandising, and day-to-day operational tasks.
